Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a great location in the heart of town, making it convenient to explore Timaru. The rooms were clean and well-prepared, although the heavy rain made it feel slightly claustrophobic. The staff were generally friendly and efficient, although some could benefit from further training. The hotel had a good location to venture out to nearby attractions and was close to the bus station and town center. The dining experience was acceptable once we got service, though there were some health concerns. The facilities were decent, but improvements could be made for a more enjoyable stay.
My stay at the hotel was great! The rooms were very tidy, large, and comfortable, although there was a lack of bedside lamp. Despite some noise from outside and adjacent rooms, the maintenance of the rooms could be improved with chipped paint and wallpaper peeling. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor issues to consider.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean and had two very comfortable beds, but there were issues with the windows locks and the bathroom wasn't up to standard. The location was great for my conference and exploring the town, but there were some noticeable drawbacks in terms of maintenance and cleanliness.
The hotel had lovely rooms, even though the bathroom was dated, it was still very clean with a funny surprise of a stubby opener next to the loo. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even allowing us a late check-out. However, there was a lingering smell of old cigarette smoke in the room.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms, despite a few issues with design, were incredibly comfortable. The staff was accommodating and friendly, though a bit blunt during billing. The location was perfect, close to great coffee spots and recreational areas. The dining experience had its ups and downs, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.
